At the recent 2010 Mac User Conference held by Nonprofit Mac community Union in Seoul, Nam, who’s a member of the union, presented his Mac. The crystal studded MacBook was Nam’s entry for the Mac Accessories Contest. A sparkling creation, it definitely left one and all present at the conference bedazzled. A beauty, this is one bling gadget I would love to own and flaunt.

The Onion has done it again. The Onion is really great at parodying a wide range of topics, but they always seem to be especially good at parodying Apple topics. Who’s the latest victim? Apple’s Genius Bars. According to The Onion, Apple will soon unveil something called “Friend Bar”, which Apple users can visit to find someone to “talk at” about their newest mundane Apple thoughts.
What makes this video even funnier is that an idea like this really doesn’t seem all that realistic. Like WTF? There is already a dating site for Apple users that is growing quite nicely.
Just think about it. What if there would be a Friend Bar?

According to youfindityoukeepit.com, Mac has a response to You Find it You Keep it campaign also known as Laptop Hunter campaign. “This ad is trying to paint PC, or Microsoft in general, as “Un-listening” and an “Ignorer” of it’s people’s needs.” Here’s the ad:

I have seen a lot of videos on youtube calles “You find it, You keep it” from Microsoft. While I was looking for this ad on internet, i saw a post on www.engadget.com about this ad. So, basically Microsoft gives away free PCs to make other customers buy PCs (not MAC!). So, I will quote the post directly: “Speaking at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference earlier today, Turner said that he knows the ads are working because “two weeks ago we got a call from the Apple legal department saying. ‘Hey, you need to stop running those ads, we lowered our prices.’” Turner further went on to note that “they took like $100 off or something,” before stating to applause that it “was the greatest single phone call in the history that I’ve ever taken in business” — though he did apparently take a minute to ask: “Is this a joke? Who are you?” In case you’re wondering, Turner also confirmed that Microsoft is indeed “just going to keep running them and running them and running them.”"
