PowerLink USB Adapter for iPhone is a convenient three-in-one device that any iPhone or iPod user would find handy. The PowerLink combines a USB memory stick for storing files, a 30-pin cable for syncing your iPhone/iPod, and a charger (actually a power supplier) with a built-in rechargeable battery.

The battery pack itself is pretty small, about the same size as a regular USB stick (about 5 x 1.5 x 1.6 inches to be specific). It’s very portable and lightweight. It has a 30-pin connector to connect your iPhone or iPod for emergency power and/or connect it to your computer for data sync. On the other end, it has a USB connector to recharge the battery or use it as a USB memory stick (which has 2GB memory capacity).

When I was buying the accessory, I expected it to CHARGE my Apple device instead of just powering it up. This is probably due to the small size of the battery (270mAh). But this is not a problem for me at all. iPhone’s battery life is about 6-10 hours, and PowerLink provides an additional hour of talk. So I would say it’s pretty decent (come on guys, what did you expect from such small device? Or would you rather carry a car battery around and hook it up with your iPhone when your phone’s dying? It WILL have a lot of power.. )

I am an Engadget subscriber, so about ten minutes ago I saw a video that they have posted, and I think it is really cool. So it’s a game called “Endless Racing Game” for iPhone/iPod Touch. Just watch the video, and you will get what’s so cool about it
