Windows 7 – Adjust Brightness

Windows 7?

Windows 7

I have installed Windows 7 on my Lenovo 3000 G530 laptop. Since I’m in Europe right now, and I’m always travelling i need my computer to be running on butteries with LOW brightness level in order to have it running longer. I’ve been searching how to adjust brightness for 2 days, and I’ve found NOTHING! Everything that I have installed doesn’t work. Even when I start Lenovo Energy Manager, it is not starting at all! So, I’m thinking of recovering my laptop to my previous Windows OS (Vista). I have a few reasons for it:

  1. Cannot adjust brightness level
  2. FN+F10 (decrease brithness level) or FN+F11 (increase birthness level) do not work any more
  3. Lenovo Care do not start
  4. Rescue and Recover does not start

So, these are the reasons why I am going to unistall Windows 7 RC1 and bring my Vista back as it was when i bought my laptop.
